Due to unforeseen circumstances Deborah Thomas has been called overseas on business and is unavailable on the 29th September. However we are fortunate to have an excellent replacement. Anne Simic is Manager, People and Culture, Ardent Leisure Group. Anne will talk about Managing Change and Promoting Innovation in Your Business. Anne is a very experienced and successful senior HR executive who has leveraged her strong commercial acumen to deliver commercial HR strategies that build organisational capability. Her pragmatic and involved style has allowed her to build strong teams and develop business cultures that deliver the desired results.

Her experience spans a variety of industries and she has held senior Human Resource Leadership roles in a number of Australia’s leading organisations. Her previous roles include Head of People for Qantas Airlines and Chief People Officer for the Chandler Macleod Group.

Anne has mentored and coached many of today’s HR leaders and acts as an adviser to business leaders and stakeholders. As a successful business transformation agent she assists organisations deal with more challenging people issues.

Anne understand the commercial value of having employees who are engaged and aligned to the business objectives and believes that this is achievable through strong leadership.
